BAM issue – no sound when on

Hi,

I have a weird one for you. My BAM worked fine on my pedalboard, but then I hooked it up as an insert for my DAW and now I get no sound when activated. It passes signal fine when bypassed, but as soon as I activate it, no sound. I checked the obvious mix-knob-being-down-while-in-aux-mode thing, but it doesn’t pass sound with the mix knob up all the way either. The only think I can think of is that I’m using XLR>TRS cables to hook it up. Will using TRS cables cause some weird tip-ring or ring-shield shorting when the relays activate? Thanks.

Hi,
Did you try a system reset ?
Press ACTIVE and TAP switches while powering BAM.
Please tell me if it works.
The problem could also occurs with out of phase TRS cables (tip and ring inverted).
